What you'll be doing
Join Western Sydney LHD Mental Health Services to support recovery for people with severe mental illness through compassionate, person-centred care.
Deliver holistic, recovery-focused mental health support
Conduct assessments & develop tailored care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams & agencies
Advocate for consumer rights & reduce stigma
Engage in quality improvement & service development

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
Registration: Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist OR for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
