What you'll be doing
Join a dynamic team at Blacktown Cancer and Haematology Centre, providing essential front-line administrative support across varied clinical services. Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Delivering high-level admin support in a clinical setting
  • Rotating across front and back office functions
  • Assisting multidisciplinary teams and clinical staff
  • Supporting clinics, infusion and radiation services
  • Ensuring patient care through accurate, timely admin

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment in a patient focused area with previous experience working with oncology patients and/or in a hospital setting
  2. Demonstrated advanced level computer skills including all aspects of MS Office, clinical databases and MS Outlook
  3. Demonstrated excellent attention to detail, in particular data entry processes
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior clinicians and external staff effectively
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within required KPI’s
  6. Experience with medical terminology, and preferred experience with iPims and other hospital patient based programs
  7. Excellence in personal work ethics in the daily performance of administrative duties
