We are seeking a motivated Relief Ward Clerk to join our team at Nepean Hospital.
This role is responsible for performing all administrative duties relevant to ward activity and patient management, doing so in an effective and efficient manner. Your responsibilities will include general reception duties, medical record management and accurate data entry for all patient ward transactions using the hospital’s Patient Administration System (PAS).
The successful Relief Ward Clerk will possess excellent communication skills, high attention to detail as well as the ability to complete their tasks with a high level of accuracy.

What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated clerical experience and knowledge, including reception experience, written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated effective customer service skills
- Demonstrated excellent organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated experience using Windows based software including databases and experience in using MS Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment and be flexible and adaptable
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and privacy including ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
