Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing

  • The Registered Nurse provides opioid treatment services and assists in development and implementation of planned care to individuals, carers and their families with the aim of maintaining and/or improving their health.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

 

Selection Criteria

  1. Skills and experience in patient case management
  2. Able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills
  3. Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively within a diverse multidisciplinary team
  4. Non judgmental attitude with patients
  5. Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependence issues and current treatment interventions
  6. Current NSW Drivers Licence
