What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, effective and evidence-informed nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes for patients. Working collaboratively with patients, families and the broader healthcare team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while contributing to a high-performing clinical environment.
· Provide person-centred nursing care in accordance with professional and clinical standards
· Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using clinical judgement and patient records
· Collaborate effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
· Support the education, mentoring and development of Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and colleagues
· Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based practice across the unit

Essential Criteria:
· Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Selection Criteria:
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
3. Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values
4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
5. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
6. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
7. Capacity to work seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.
