What you'll be doing
Join the Radiology Department as a Medical Radiation Scientist and deliver patient-centred, high quality diagnostic imaging services within a supportive and professional environment.
- Perform radiological procedures aligned with clinical and legislative standards
- Support patients through procedures, addressing physical and emotional needs
- Work in a 24/7 rotating roster, including on-call duties
- Ensure accurate imaging processes, including patient ID and data integrity
- Maintain safety, infection control, and effective team communication

Essential Requirements:
- License: Eligible for or possess NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14
- Qualification: Degree in or currently completing degree in Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science – Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Registration: Eligible for and registered with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) prior to commencement .
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in general radiography, including but not limited to general and trauma, operating suite, mobile, dental and fluoroscopy
- Experience working in a busy hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve clinical situations and to develop effective solutions
