What you'll be doing
In this Assistant In Nursing role, you will support nurses in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while ensuring comfort, dignity and safety for patients. Key responsibilities will be to:
Assist with personal care, mobility and daily living activities
Maintain accurate patient documentation to support care planning
Support clinical procedures and equipment setup/cleaning
Communicate effectively with patients, carers and care teams
Adapt to a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities

Selection Criteria:
Successful completion of Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) with experience in acute care environments deemed appropriate by WSLHD or documented evidence of placement in 2nd Year as an undergraduate Registered Nurse at tertiary level documented evidence of enrolment in Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115)
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems
Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
