About the role

The Orange Health Service, Sterilising Department is looking for a permanent part time employee on a 7 day a week rotating shift roster. On-call and weekend flexibility is required. 

The Sterilisation Technician is primarily responsible for the preparation, sterilisation, storage and thermal disinfection of reusable medical and surgical instruments and equipment to prevent the transmission of infection, working within a large team under routine supervision.

The successful applicants will be energetic, organised and possess a positive attitude with attention to detail and a willingness to learn. On the job education and training will be provided.

You will be working with a team of highly knowledgeable and professional sterilisation technicians in an organised fast paced work environment.

The successful applicant will be supported by Educators within the Sterilising department.
