The Staff Specialist will provide patient-centred care by participation in outpatient pain clinics, inpatient pain rounds, and Palliative Care ward rounds. This role also requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams for both inpatient and outpatient consultations, undertaking pain management procedures, and conducting community-based visits.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FFPMANZCA) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
