About the role
A Speech Pathologist works as part of a multidisciplinary team including other health care professionals to ensure the maximisation of the client's abilities by using skills a client has and working to develop or improve areas of deficit.
Be part of a small and dynamic team of healthcare professionals delivering health services to our local Eugowra & Canowindra communities.
To be successful in this role you will need excellent written and oral communication skills, be well organised, a good time manager, empathetic, patient, and able to work independently or in a team. Good problem solving ability and being able to adapt to diverse client groups is also required.
This role is shared between Canowindra Health Service & Eugowra Multi Purpose Service.
Canowindra Health Service provides acute and sub-acute in-patient services alongside emergency and a variety of allied health out-patient presentations and community nursing.
Eugowra MPS provides residential aged care beds, a Walk-In Health centre and community nursing and physiotherapy services.
