Senior Occupational Therapist - 5-10k Incentives Offered
Pathways to Community Living Initiative (PCLI)

About the role

Join us for an exciting opportunity to work across both inpatient and community settings providing specialist expertise, consultation, assessment and treatment to enable the service to better support people with complex mental health presentations and multiple comorbidities.

The Occupational Therapy department at the Bloomfield Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol Service is a friendly and dynamic team. We work as part of a large multidisciplinary team that is committed to providing all consumers with holistic, evidence-based care that focuses on patient safety and engagement. You will also be part of a smaller multidisciplinary PCLI team that works across inpatient and community settings to support successful transitions to community living. You will also be part of a connected state-wide network of PCLI clinicians working across all NSW LHDs and SHNs.

You will be supported in your role by the OT Head of Department as your line manager and the PCLI Program Manager who will provide leadership and guidance in relation to service delivery, project planning and reporting.  The role encourages ongoing supervision and CPD with additional opportunities for professional development available through the PCLI network.

Both the department and the PCLI program is led by managers who believe in the importance of flexible work practices and ensuring staff enjoy a good work life balance and meaningful work which improves on staff satisfaction and team culture.
