About the role
The Senior Oncology Dietitian is responsible for providing a comprehensive individualised dietetic and nutrition service, to people with cancer and other advanced life limiting illnesses. You will provide senior leadership and guidance to the team of Dietitians working within the Central West Cancer Care Centre at the Orange Health Service and consult with patients both in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Orange is the ‘hub’ for Cancer Care Services in the Central West, providing Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Haematology Oncology and Palliative Care services. The position functions within a multi-disciplinary team of Medical Specialists, General Practitioners, Oncology and Palliative Care Nurses, Radiotherapy staff, Psycho-Oncology Counsellor, Community-based Nurses and other Allied Health Workers.
