Senior Administration Officer – Medical Imaging Team Leader
Orange Health Service – medical Imaging
About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Team Leader to join our dynamic Medical Imaging Department. This key role is responsible for efficiently coordinating the day-to-day operations of the administrative team, ensuring smooth workflow and the highest standard of service in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment.
As the Administration Team leader, you will lead and support a dedicated team of administration staff (6.4FE, including permanent and casual employees) that operates Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Working closely with the Chief Radiographer, you will also be a member of the Medical Imaging Leadership Team (MILT) focused on improving collaboration and smooth function of our large multidisciplinary team and meeting departmental goals.
Exceptional communication skills, experience in leading a team and improving processes, would be beneficial in this role.
The Medical Imaging Department (MID) at Orange Health Service provides routine and emergency service to hospital inpatients as well as outpatients from the local and surrounding communities. We provide a range of modalities including x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and interventional radiology.
Our MID is part of the Western NSW LHD wide medical imaging business unit (MIBU), which allows for effective streamlining and sharing of resources. The MIBU deploys a central radiology information system (RIS) and picture archiving and communication system (PACS).
