About the role


The Women's Health Nurse is an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team responsible for providing clinical services to women including:  cervical screening, screening for sexually transmitted infections, breast awareness, contraception, continence assessments, pregnancy testing, and general counselling. 
 
Exciting opportunity to work with the Women’s Health team that covers the Western NSW Local Health District with the position based in the Northern area of Western NSW Local Health District.

Travel will be required to meet Service needs in the Northern area. The Women’s Health & Violence Protection team sits with the Service Delivery Directorate under the management of the Director Child Youth and Family Division

The women’s health programs focus of delivering holistic-centred care to improve the health and wellbeing; increase and improve outcomes and deliver health care to women and their families who are living in regional, rural and remote areas of the LHD. Training will be considered for the right applicant.
