About the role
If you're an experienced critical care nurse ready for a new challenge, this is your chance to bring your skills into the fast-paced and rewarding world of cardiology while enjoying a predominantly Monday to Friday lifestyle.
Join the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab) team at Orange Health Service and play a vital role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease. Working alongside cardiologists, advanced trainees, radiographers and a highly supportive nursing team, you'll be involved in life-changing procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions and stent placements.
This is an exciting opportunity to expand your career in a specialist area, with ongoing support from a Clinical Nurse Educator, dedicated mentoring, in-service training and cardiology education. Every day brings the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, contribute to exceptional patient outcomes and make a real difference during critical moments of care.
With mainly weekday shifts and some after-hours on-call requirements, this role offers an ideal pathway into a rewarding specialty that can provide a better work-life balance while continuing to challenge and develop your clinical expertise.
