Registered Nurse – 10-20k Incentives Offered
Grenfell Multi Purpose Service

About the role

We are looking for an acute Registered Nurse that has emergency department experience. The successful applicant will be a confident team leader, ability to work as the nurse in charge, ability to work independently and apply critical thinking skills, with expertise in ECGs, IVC, catheterisation, ALS etc. You will also support the Residential Aged Care Unit as required.

As a rural Multipurpose Service (MPS) Registered Nurse you will work in a supported environment to provide essential healthcare services and support to residents in rural communities throughout Western NSW. The role involves working with the multidisciplinary team both face to face and virtually to deliver a range of health care services including aged care, acute care, primary health and community health. You will be responsible for assisting with the provision of high quality care and ensuring the wellbeing of patients and residents within the MPS facility.

You will work as a part of a small team of RNs, ENs and AINs. There are about 35 nurses on staff who work in both areas of our facility. Very supportive staff. Great focus on education and training. We have a CNE on site one day per week and have regular site visits with regional educators and access to ongoing virtual education. Supportive rostering to enhance the work/life balance

This position is rotating shift work.

Grenfell MPS has 7 inpatient beds, 34 RAC beds and 1 ED bed. We are supported medically by our virtual services every fortnight and have a medical officer on call every other fortnight. Access to allied health, both virtually and on site.

Grenfell still has that small town feel with lots of friendly people and low crime rate. Visitors always comment about the positive rapport amongst staff.
