The Registered Midwife is an integral part of the multidisciplinary maternity team providing woman centred care that is focused on the woman's individual needs, expectations and aspirations to achieve optimal birthing outcomes for women and their babies.
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide professional, competent care in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s standards. Your responsibilities include antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including assessment, planning, and interventions aimed at achieving optimal birthing outcomes.
You will coordinate care, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and ensure accurate record-keeping to meet legal requirements. You will supervise and delegate tasks to less experienced staff, supporting quality birthing outcomes. The role offers rotating shifts, flexible work, and a friendly country town lifestyle. You’ll join a dynamic team, supported by experienced clinical staff, with orientation and ongoing education opportunities.
