About the role
Our single aim is to provide a service to build healthier rural people and thriving communities, and our midwives play a crucial role in achieving this goal. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a broad range of people across varied socio-economic backgrounds and diverse ethnicities and experience a range of models of care.
You will work in a modern facility supporting women and their pregnancies, where you can really make a difference to their lives.
You will be developed professionally by our district’s Clinical Midwife Educator and Clinical Midwife Consultants, have access to online and face to face learning with the Australian College of Nursing and the opportunity to undertake our Clinical Leadership program. While at times it will be hard, others challenging, we can promise your work will always be rewarding and you will be well supported by a Clinical Midwife Specialist Team Leader in an inclusive, collaborative and supportive work environment.
This truly is a role where you will broaden your scope, develop new skills and supercharge your career.
Challenge yourself. Make an impact. Shape the future. Join us at Western NSW Local Health District.

Retention incentives of up to $10,000 after 12 months of service may apply.
Incentives for part time employment are paid at a pro-rata rate. For eligibility criteria and more information: Midwifery sign-on bonus.
