Radiation Therapist Supervisor

About the role

Help to lead the daily service delivery of radiation oncology across WNSWLHD. Oversee, guide, and instruct Radiation Therapists and students ensuring high levels of performance and skill development.

WNSWLHD District Radiation Oncology service is located across two sites (Orange and Dubbo). Approximately 20 Radiation Therapists work in Orange and 12 in Dubbo.

WNSWLHD Radiation Oncology is a diverse team with a broad skill set. The clinical service is progressive, innovative, and evidence-based techniques with a sub-specialist Radiation Oncologists model of care.

The Radiation Therapist Supervisor role works closely with the Chief Radiation Therapist for WNSWLHD, Deputy Chief Radiation Therapists and Radiation Therapist Supervisor at Central West Cancer care and Western Cancer Centre Dubbo. The role is supported by a strong orientation program developed and supported by Radiation Therapist educators at Orange and Dubbo, along with regular meetings with the radiation oncology management team.
