About the role
The Nurse Manager – Patient Flow & Access Command Centre provides clinical and professional leadership and is responsible for the operational management of the Patient Flow & Access Command Centre, working in collaboration with all Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) sites and services, to ensure coordinated, timely and efficient patient journeys across ambulatory, acute, sub-acute and community based services within the Health District.
The role will be responsible for strategic oversight and leadership of patient Flow Systems & Capacity across WNSWLHD and will monitor all operational issues with Flow across sites and provide support, direction, guidance and advice to WNSWLHD executive and to facility patient flow teams/executive.
