About the role
The Nurse Managers role is multi-focal supporting the Health Service Manager, Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse, residents, patients and visitors of the Collarenebri MPS.
This is a level 1 position so is suited to a nurse that wants to take the next step in their management career. This is truly a fabulous opportunity for you to progress your career by experiencing management nursing with the wide scope of practice only a rural setting can bring. The rewards are immense.
You will be managing and supervising staff and clinical nursing practice with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and professional growth for staff. Other duties include case management, treatment planning, recruitment, budgeting, scheduling, mentoring and developing educational plans.
You’ll be a role model to uphold policies and professional standards practices with staff to deliver evidence based best-practice and safe care. You’ll also be an advocate for our organisational change processes to continuously improve nursing care delivery.
