About the role
The Clinical Products Manager role is an exciting opportunity, that provides the focus and coordination for selection, evaluation and implementation of all new clinical products and those existing with significant changes to specification.
The role is responsible for ensuring clinical products/equipment provided throughout the Local Health District (LHD) complies with NSW Ministry of Health Purchasing and Supply policies and procedures, NSW Ministry of Health directives, State Contracts and relevant standards. A high level of customer service and support to the LHD is required in the role, to ensure access to required clinical products to provide patient care.
On a day-to-day basis the position will work with Clinicians, vendors and colleagues within Ministry of Health and other Local Health Districts to ensure the clinical purchasing process achieves a cost-effective and 'best fit' outcome for patients and clinicians.
This role is in a very dynamic space with increased focus on procurement within Health Care and involved in significant reform projects. This role requires an analytical eye, strong customer service and relationship management skills and a commitment to efficient and effective clinical care.
