About the role
An opportunity presents for emerging & experienced nursing leaders to gain experience in a busy multi-purpose service. As the Nurse Manager of Molong Multi Purpose Service, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical team/s.
The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management of staff, services, and resources to ensure delivery of safe, effective, quality nursing and midwifery care. Our nursing team is critical in our vision to build healthier rural people and thriving communities. Our nurse managers make sure we deliver on our promise by creating safe, healthy environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient engagement. The Nurse Manager will support and lead a diverse range of clinician’s who provide services to the Molong community. The position will be five (5) days management per fortnight and five (5) days clinical.
The role of Nurse Manager opens itself to innovative approaches of leading the nursing teams to success in all aspects of service delivery through collaborative approaches & speciality service through virtual health care.
The position creates the opportunity to build networks within the community and across the wider local health district whilst strengthening subspecialty practices in Emergency, Aged Care, Aboriginal Health, Primary & Community Health and subacute models of care.
