About the role
Mental Health Emergency Care is recruiting suitably qualified professional with at least three years post-qualifying experience, to complement our existing team. We are additionally advertising casual vacancies for those wishing to have more flexibility in their hours.

Working either Bloomfield or another site or potentially from home within the district, you’ll be part of a unique, dedicated acute mental health team, where your skills and experience are valued and respected and you receive the appropriate remuneration, including access to penalty rates. All staff receive a comprehensive induction, including access to training in Sydney and the opportunity to further your learning. Our roster flexibility means that you have three or four days off a week to ensure you have a good work life balance.

No two shifts are the same; you might find yourself attending professional development, providing virtual/telephone triage for the 1800 Mental Health line, or completing acute mental health assessments and interventions to any of our 44 health facilities across the local health district. Working closely with other services, you’ll also have access to excellent training opportunities from other stakeholders.

We’re also looking to the future with Police, Ambulance Clinician Early Response interventions, which will broaden this dynamic and exciting role even further!
