About the role
This role acts as a key point of contact between the General Manager, Chief Radiographers and sole chief Radiographers to facilitate effective communication and service delivery.
The Executive Assistant will provide a broad range of high level administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager Imaging Services and broader leadership team. The role will also support limited administerial support functions to the Director District Wide Services Division.
The General Manager, Imaging Services leads a widely dispersed team of over 150. This includes multiple Medical Imaging Departments operating in the varied hospitals around Western NSW LHD. The General Manager is also the appointed Director of the BreastScreen Greater Western Screening and Assessment Service (SAS).
Key responsibilities include supporting departmental governance processes by preparing documentation, maintaining accurate records, managing procurement activities, scheduling meetings, managing diaries, preparing correspondence. Each day is uniquely different keeping work engaging and dynamic.
