Clinical Nurse Specialist – Mental Health Intensive Care Unit (MHICU)
Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol
About the role
Join our dedicated team at Mental Health Drug & Alcohol (MHDA) Bloomfield Campus as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). This is a unique opportunity to provide specialised, intensive multidisciplinary care for adults facing complex mental health challenges who cannot be safely managed in a standard acute inpatient setting.
We seek a passionate mental health nurse with extensive experience who will bring a forward-thinking, positive attitude to foster clinical excellence, drive research initiatives, and provide professional leadership. Your expertise will play a vital role in shaping high-quality care for our most vulnerable consumers.
Located in Orange, NSW, just 4 km from the CBD, the MHDA Bloomfield Campus offers a range of mental health support and specialised treatment programs. Our comprehensive inpatient services include a child and adolescent unit, a state-wide forensic rehabilitation unit, a mental health intensive care unit, an adult acute unit, an older persons' acute unit, and various non-acute state-wide and district inpatient units for adults and older individuals.
The Mental Health Intensive Care Unit (MHICU) focuses on multidisciplinary assessment and provides short-term involuntary inpatient treatment for adults experiencing acute phases of mental illness or disorder.
If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health, we encourage you to apply and be part of our compassionate and innovative team.
