About the role
Are you a driven and enthusiastic team player? Bathurst Hospital Rehabilitation Ward is looking for a dynamic, energetic educator with a passion for engaging with people and working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
If you are a creative problem solver with the ability to contribute to the ongoing development of the unit then we want you in our team.
Bathurst Hospital is located 3 hours west of Sydney over the Blue Mountains. It is a University City, has good transport services throughout the city, buses, trains and airplanes with regular connections to Sydney then interstate. Large sporting complexes, great restaurants, recreational activities and facilities. The Rehabilitation Ward is a busy 16 bed with 4 Residential Transitional Aged Care Beds as well as an Independent Living Unit. The Ward is co-located with Bathurst Hospital and is managed by a strong Multidisciplinary team as well as being supported by Allied Health. The hospital has an ED, Level 4 ICU, Level 4 Maternity services, Paediatrics services, Medical unit with telemetry and palliative care beds, 15 Bed Surgical ward, large inpatient and outpatient Allied Health support and expanding Ambulatory Care and HITH services.
