About the role
Mental Health Drug & Alcohol – Bloomfield Campus are seeking a talented Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to join the Bloomfield inpatient team. The CNE will be responsible for providing compassionate, person-centred health care in collaboration with patients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
The Clinical Nurse Educator in consultation with the Nurse Unit Manager will identify, develop, implement, and evaluate education for nursing staff and students working within Bloomfield Inpatient Acute and Non-Acute units.
The CNE will provide clinical teaching, orientation, skill accreditation and professional development support for all nursing staff and students. This role is directly responsible to the Clinical Practice & Risk Improvement Manager and the Nurse Unit Managers at Bloomfield Inpatient Services.
This role is located on Bloomfield Hospital Campus for Mental Health Drug & Alcohol at Orange. Mental Health Drug & Alcohol (MHDA) - Bloomfield Campus is in Orange, NSW approximately 4km from the centre of the CBD and provides a variety of mental health support and specialist treatment programs.
MHDA Bloomfield Campus provides inpatient services which includes a child and adolescent unit, a state-wide forensic rehabilitation unit, a mental health intensive care unit, adult acute unit, older person’s acute unit, and a range of non-acute state-wide and district inpatient units for adults and older people.
