About the role
The purpose of the position is to provide Drug and Alcohol assessments, client focused treatment, case management and counselling for clients who present with substance use problems and/or comorbidity issues. Actively collaborating with Mental Health services in treatment planning and provision with shared care clients. Additionally, working with the Opioid Treatment Program, MERIT program, Substance in Use in Pregnancy and Parenting program (SUPPPs). To provide support and education to all staff within the Dubbo and Region Hub and expectation of travelling across the Dubbo & Regional Hub with overnight stays.
You will be working with with likeminded people who are dedicated to providing the best evidence-based treatment to clients, Completing assessments; developing treatment plans; report writing, advocacy skills; case management skills; counselling skills; knowledge of trauma informed care; Interpersonal skills; cultural competence; self-care; active listener.
