About the role
Be at the heart of patient care and help keep our Operating Theatre running smoothly. As a Theatre Ward Clerk, you'll provide essential administrative support, coordinate patient flow, manage theatre lists, and work closely with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support safe and efficient surgical services.
In this dynamic role, you will coordinate patient admissions, transfers and discharges, manage theatre schedules and patient information, liaise with clinical and support teams to facilitate patient flow, respond to enquiries from patients, families and staff, maintain patient records and documentation, schedule appointments, and provide administrative support to the Nurse Unit Manager and theatre team while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance in all processes.
