Our goal to build 'healthier rural people and thriving communities' is the shared responsibility of all involved in care and the Administration Officer is an integral and valued member of our team.
Cowra Hospital is nearing completion of a major transformation with a new cutting-edge facility that will redefine healthcare delivery in the Central West.
With the $110.2 million Cowra Hospital Redevelopment Project now in its final stages, the new hospital will deliver modern, purpose-built facilities to meet the health needs of Cowra and surrounding communities, both now and into the future.
As part of this exciting transition – Cowra Hospital is now hiring passionate professionals to support patients and communities in the new space designed for innovation, integration, and excellence.
As an administration officer you will provide quality customer service to patients, employees and members of the public, ensuring a respectful and helpful response is provided to all face-to-face and telephone enquiries, supporting a positive opinion of our Health Service.
Completing a range of operational, clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the facility, you’ll also provide assistance with more complex tasks or projects and provide relief for other staff as required, to support efficiency and quality within the service and team.
Supporting the manager and team with quality improvement activities, you’ll make decisions and take initiative in relation to day to day operational matters, performing according to established work practices and procedures, working under general instruction and broad supervision.
We have multiple permanent part time Administration Officer opportunities available. You will be required to work 6 hour shifts, on a rotating 7 day roster.
