About the role
Western NSW Local Health District is seeking two passionate and experienced Aboriginal health Workers to work with a multi-disciplinary team on a new initiative aimed at improving culturally safe cancer care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across our region. 1.0 FTE Northern Sector based in Dubbo and 0.5FTE Southern Sector based in Orange.

These positions (funded for 2 years through Cancer Australia grant funding) will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating strategies that enhance access, experience, and outcomes for patients and families. Based within the Western NSW LHD, these roles offer the opportunity to collaborate closely with Aboriginal communities, health professionals, and cancer services to create lasting change in how care is delivered.
