1. Registered as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) / Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).
3. Demonstrated experience operating effectively in a clinical leadership and management role at a executive/senior level inclusive of medical administration, medical workforce, professional practice, clinical governance, clinical ethics, clinical teaching and clinical leadership.
4. Demonstrated expertise managing health financial and activity reporting systems.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary health issues, rural healthcare priorities and reform agendas within the NSW Health system.
6. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, especially with senior medical practitioners and clinicians.
7. Licence to drive in NSW and ability to travel regularly for work purposes. Knowledge, understanding and commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity, Ethical Practice, Ethnic Affairs Priorities Statements; and Health and Safety, as they relate to the position. Commitment to NSW Health CORE values.
8. Demonstrated ability to lead change and to work effectively within an executive team.
