Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) Claims Manager

About the role
This position is responsible for managing the new VMO Claims Support Team, and the operation of Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) claims processes and payments.  The role will lead improvements in claims checking processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and introducing standard procedures across the district, ensuring practices align with relevant policies, procedures, and standards.

The position holder will need to collaborate with key stakeholders including medical administration teams, Directors of Medical Services and medical practitioners.

You will drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, compliance, and service outcomes.
