About the role
An opportunity exists for a motivated Physiotherapist to join the Orange Health Service Subacute team. In this role you will be responsible for the coordination of the osteoporosis re-fracture prevention and osteoarthritis chronic care programs.
This position is located in the subacute team based at Orange Health Service. The subacute team is a multidisciplinary team who work to promote best practice and enhancing the care assessment and management of subacute patients with a focus on orthogeriatric patients.These patients are located at Orange Health Service and in the neighbouring facilities.
You will also be a member of the Physiotherapy department consisting of both senior and junior staff who work across a range of clinical areas including paediatrics, acute services, rehabilitation, subacute, community and mental health.
With a focus on innovative models of care, Orange Health Service is the largest rural hospital in New South Wales and the regional teaching, referral and trauma centre for the Central West. Developed in 2011 on the grounds of Bloomfield Campus, the 520 bed state of the art facility has a 200 bed general hospital, with five operating suites and 60 specialised treatment areas.
