About the role
The Patient Experience Officer role is customer focused and is passionate about delivering a great customer experience every day while making a difference with patient outcomes.  This role is responsible for enhancing effective patient and carer communication, particularly between the patient, carer and clinical staff throughout the department.

With over 35,000 presentations to the Emergency Department per year, Dubbo Health Service is the main referral hospital for 21 health facilities within the Northern Sector of Western NSW Local Health District.

Dubbo Health Service Emergency Department is serviced by a supportive and collaborative multi-disciplinary team including an Operations Manager, Medical Director, Registrars, Junior Medical Officers, Nursing Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, Registered Nurses, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Clinicians and Administration staff.
