About the role
The Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Registered Nurse is an integral member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team responsible for providing nursing care to consumers who are experiencing a mental health illness/disorder or alcohol/drug illness. This role practices a trauma informed and recovery orientated care approach in collaboration with MDT, the consumers, their carers and family. The Registered Nurse and MDT engage consumers, carers and family at all levels ensuring an Elevated Human Experience.
