About the role
A leadership opportunity for a senior pharmacist to experience the full scope of hospital pharmacy practice and supervise the vibrant team of 25 at Dubbo Health Service.
As a part of the multidisciplinary team in a very active hospital, you’ll have a variety of interactions and diversity in your work every day, in a community that values your services and care.
In this role you’ll have exposure to a range of clinical areas and support the director of pharmacy overseeing clinical work in the team. You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of pharmacy services to outpatients and inpatients to ensure the quality use of medicines within the hospital setting. This includes dispensing, drug distribution, manufacturing, clinical pharmacy services, outpatient services, drug information, education and research.
We offer flexible working hours Monday to Friday and the opportunity for additional on-call and weekend shifts and we support you with training and development, including 10 days study leave per year, clinical supervision and networking groups to advance your career.
This role would suit pharmacists who have an inquiring mind and are keen to further improve their leadership, management and clinical expertise and want to work in a thriving team and community.
