About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Neuropsychologist or Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar to work full or part-time in inpatient Psychiatric services working with consumers with moderate-severe mental illness.  This role would suit a Clinical Neuropsychologist/Registrar seeking a career change, or someone looking to balance private clinical services with public mental health.

This position provides evidence based neuropsychological assessment for consumers of services in Western NSW. The Clinical Neuropsychologist will participate in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assist in the development and provision of education and training programs, working within a multidisciplinary health care team.  Fully registered Clinical Neuropsychologists will be expected to provide clinical supervision, training, and mentoring of junior staff.

This role will be working across several inpatient Psychiatric units, with a focus on long-term psychiatric rehabilitation and an opportunity to support consumers as they transition from acute mental health care, through to rehabilitation, thence community living. The Clinical Neuropsychologist will be part of a large team of Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, and Senior Clinical Psychologists, and have the opportunity to attend internal supervision and training.  The Clinical Neuropsychologist will have access to a vast test library and other clinical resources to assist their role, including opportunities to attend funded Professional Development activities.

This role is offered full time or permanent part-time, with flexible working hours and the opportunity to take all or part of the hours offered.
