About the role
The Medical Workforce Officer provides administrative and clerical support as part of the Medical Workforce Unit to facilitate efficient service delivery within Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD).
The position has a focus on supporting the Junior Medical Officers (JMO) throughout their placements at Orange Health Service. This will include opportunities to develop rostering skills, Healthroster data entry, support JMO wellbeing, and proactively address staffing issues, attend and minute meetings, and provide assistance in department accreditations.
The Medical Workforce Officer will be the first point of contact for the Medical Workforce Unit at Orange Health Service, and as such will be able to work under limited direction and guidance with regard to work priorities in a fast paced environment and be capable of maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships.
