With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways we're enriching health, and develop your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.
Achieve Something Great
Step into a meaningful role where you can make a profound impact in sexual health by providing advanced psychosocial support and counselling to clients navigating STIs, HIV and blood‑borne viruses. In this position, you will empower individuals through diagnosis, disclosure and relationship challenges while advocating for them across health systems and community agencies. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to evidence‑based practice, and lead quality improvement initiatives that strengthen service delivery. Your work will include providing specialist counselling and case management to consumers and their carers, as well as participating in professional development, clinical supervision, teaching and essential departmental activities that enhance the overall effectiveness of the service.
Are You the Right Fit?
You may be the ideal candidate if you are a passionate social worker driven by compassion, advocacy and ethical integrity, with a strong commitment to culturally respectful and evidence‑based practice. You thrive in complex clinical environments, communicate with confidence and sensitivity, and feel comfortable supporting clients through highly personal and challenging sexual health issues. You enjoy working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, mentoring students and contributing to continuous improvement. You are also motivated to engage in supervision, professional development and administrative responsibilities that support high‑quality, client‑centred care.
Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

3. Demonstrated extensive experience in case management of complex cases and counselling.
4. Demonstrated experience in prioritising a challenging and demanding workload; managing stressful situations; and applying advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel or critical nature.
5. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
