Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2: $58.82 - $60.75 per hour
Clinical Psychologist: $57.30 - $69.84 per hour
Occupational Therapist Level 3: $58.95 - $60.86 per hour
Senior Psychologist: $72.97 - $77.16 per hour
Social Worker Level 3:$58.95 - $60.86 per hour

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families? The Liverpool/Fairfield Infant Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS) is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to join our team.

At ICAMHS, we provide specialist mental health assessment and intervention for children and adolescents experiencing moderate to severe mental illness, along with support for their parents and carers across the Liverpool and Fairfield regions. If you have expertise in Child & Adolescent Mental Health, and skills in CBT, DBT, or family therapy, this is your chance to step into a role that truly matters.

What You'll be Doing
As a senior clinician provide leadership, mentorship and supervision, to ensure the delivery of evidence-based, strengths focused, recovery orientated assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary team. Carry a clinical caseload, appropriate to the needs of the service.

 

Where You'll Be Working 
SWSLHD Community Mental Health Services provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across South Western Sydney.

 

These services cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and older persons, ensuring specialised care throughout various life stages. The multidisciplinary teams offer a range of supports, including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapy. They work closely with inpatient services, GPs, and other community organisations to provide holistic care.

  3. How have you worked collaboratively with children, young people, and their families to identify goals and strengths? Please include examples of how you incorporated therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or family therapy into your care planning.
  4. Demonstrated excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage conflict as well as maintain a positive workplace culture.
  5. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
