What You'll Be Doing
Providing support and assistance to the Manager-Financial planning and Efficiency to facilitate the effective and efficient planning and reporting on the use of the District's financial resources, monitoring the budget performance and providing timely, regular reporting to key stakeholders on financial and budget; including, improving financial efficiency and capability across SWSLHD.

  1. Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce or other relevant discipline and membership of an appropriate accounting organisation or equivalent relevant experience in a large, complex organisation.
  2. Demonstrated management and supervisory experience at a senior level.
  3. Excellent organizational, analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders and in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver change.
  4. Demonstrated high level analytical skills using financial, statistical, human resources and management data systems to pro-actively improve business performance.
  5. Ability to problem solve, prioritise workload and meet deadlines, both autonomously and within a team in an environment with minimal supervision and ongoing change.
  6. Excellent financial skills and demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
  7. High level interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to prepare complex written documents including briefs, letters, reports, referral notes etc.
  8. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
