About the Opportunity
South Western Sydney Local Health District is currently seeking a Senior Cloud and Server Support Officer to compliment the ICT Operations Team in supporting a large ICT Multi Cloud and On-Premise (hybrid) server environment.
You will be part of the Digital Health team, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the environments are maintained, cost effective, protected, and play a crucial role in ICT Project implementations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Cloud and On-premise server management skills, Cyber Security awareness and have a detailed understanding of project management principles.

What You'll be Doing
The Senior Cloud and Server Support Officer is responsible for the planning, transition and managing ongoing support and delivery of the cloud-based and on-premise ICT infrastructure and systems. The role provides day to day management and administration of Windows Operating Systems, administration tools, associated applications and monitoring systems, while ensuring compliance with Cyber Security requirements. This role will work closely with all departments within Digital Health.
The position will ensure the delivery of reliable and secure Digital Health Services to a broad range of stakeholders, whilst seeking to improve systems to ensure quality patient centred care. Being a team player, you will be well organised with strong technical knowledge, being solution focused and able to effectively perform in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

- Related qualifications with a Major Cloud provider and/or extensive proven experience in managing and supporting Cloud Based and on-Premise server infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation, optimisation and support of public, private and hybrid cloud infrastructure that meets the Australian Cyber Security Centre Essential 8 and Cyber NSW requirements.
- Experienced in designing and deploying a range of complex Cloud network connectivity and infrastructure solutions including but not limited to, Load Balancers, Cloud Security, Access Management, Storage, Backup, Monitoring, Virus Protection, Databases and Containers.
- Proven experience in administering on-premise and Cloud (hybrid), Windows Applications and Servers, Citrix, virtualisation environments and the ability to provide subject matter guidance and support to embedded core teams and stakeholders.
- In depth knowledge and proven administration experience of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell, Terraform, VBS scripting, SQL Server, Anti-Virus systems, patch management
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
