Step into a pivotal leadership role at Liverpool Hospital with this excellent 12‑month opportunity for an experienced nurse manager. This role offers the chance to lead our Demand Management Unit and oversee all aspects of patient flow, ensuring timely, safe and effective access to care across the hospital. Working closely with the Director of Nursing and the Nursing & Executive Leadership Team, you’ll influence key performance indicators, drive operational excellence and shape innovative models that improve patient access and experience. Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated understanding of contemporary issues impacting on patient flow and capacity and demonstrated ability to engage teams in implementing demand management strategies.
3. Demonstrated senior nursing experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in a relevant setting.Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
4. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking to set goals, formulate strategic plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes for the service and organisation
5. Demonstrated experience in managing complex HR and industrial matters including high level communication and negotiation skills.
