About the Opportunity
Join the Emergency Department at Liverpool Hospital as a Front of House (FOH) Coordinator. This is a pivotal senior nursing role driving safe, timely, and effective care in the FOH zone, including triage, CIN, and waiting areas.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS2), you’ll bring advanced clinical expertise and autonomous decision-making to a fast-paced environment. Working closely with senior nursing and medical leaders, you’ll set the standard for patient flow, collaborate on complex care delivery, and guide best practices across the FOH zone.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical oversight and coordination of FOH zone operations
- Ensuring appropriate care commencement aligned to models of care
- Maintaining flow through triage and FOH bays, responding swiftly to capacity challenges
- Partnering with Senior Decision Makers, NUMs, and the broader FOH team to optimise demand management
- Providing mentorship and quality care supervision for nurses in the FOH space

Where You'll Be Working
The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.
Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.
Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the UNSW Sydney and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.
Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant post-registration qualifications with at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of the employees specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
