- Provide advanced clinical expertise and operational leadership across evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Act as the key decision-maker, coordinating complex patient care and supporting nursing teams hospital-wide

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience working in the clinical area of the employees specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- Give a brief overview of what education training and clinically relevant experience you bring with you to the role?
- Describe a time you led the management of a complex or deteriorating patient after hours (e.g., nights/weekends/public holidays) when senior leadership was not onsite
After-hours can be unpredictable and resource-limited. Provide an example of when you provided operational oversight across a facility/service after hours to maintain patient flow and safety
