An opportunity exists for an experienced and highly organised Administration Officer (Level 3) to join the South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) Sexual Assault Service. This role provides essential administrative and secretarial support to the Service Manager and clinical team within a specialised and sensitive healthcare environment. 


Are You the Right Fit? 
The role is responsible for a range of administrative and clerical duties including managing team rosters, providing secretarial support for team and high-level meetings, registering and maintaining medical records, file retrieval and culling, word processing, ordering stationery and stock, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the service. 
This position operates within a specialised and sensitive environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate resilience, professionalism and compassion, and must be comfortable working with sensitive information and material that may at times be confronting.


Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative and secretarial support in a busy office environment, including reception, document preparation and general office coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise a high-volume workload, manage competing demands and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with a strong commitment to customer service, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders in complex or sensitive environments.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with accurate keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications and NSW Health systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
