Be part of a team that keeps Fairfield Hospital running smoothly. As a Casual Administration Officer, you'll support patients, visitors and staff across a variety of departments, making a meaningful difference every day. 

  • Provide essential administrative support across areas including Emergency, Switchboard, Outpatient Clinics and other key hospital services. 
  • Be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering professional and compassionate customer service. 
  • Help maintain efficient hospital operations through accurate data entry, appointment management and record administration. 
  • Gain valuable experience working across diverse teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 
  • Contribute to high-quality patient care by supporting clinical and operational teams behind the scenes.

  • You have excellent organisational skills and can effectively prioritise tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • You remain calm, professional and compassionate when supporting people in challenging or emotionally demanding situations. 
  • You have strong communication, listening and problem-solving skills and enjoy providing exceptional customer service. 
  • You can work both independently and as part of a team to achieve quality service outcomes. 
  • You are flexible and adaptable, with the availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster including nights, weekends, public holidays and additional shifts at short notice.
