You are a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care and thrives in a collaborative surgical environment. You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team and take pride in supporting patients throughout their journey.
- Passionate about providing safe, high-quality, patient-centred care that promotes positive patient outcomes and experiences.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients and families.
- Confident in delivering pre- and post-operative care, undertaking clinical assessments and responding to changing patient needs.
- Demonstrates sound clinical judgement through the timely recognition, escalation and management of patient deterioration.
- Committed to infection prevention, patient safety and maintaining accurate clinical documentation and effective handovers.
- Enjoys educating patients and families, supporting discharge planning and supporting smooth transitions of care.
